Why I made it
I wanted the sources next to the argument
Australian politics is full of confident claims, short clips and headlines. Checking any of them properly usually means digging through reports and trying to find the table or paragraph everyone is talking about.
I made Aussie Soap Box so I could write down my own take in plain language and put the evidence right beside it. It is not pretending to be neutral or tied to a party. It is just my argument, with enough information for you to check it yourself.
How it works
The take comes first, then the proof
Each topic is a short cheat sheet. I state what I think, break down the main points, and number the sources so you do not have to hunt for where a fact came from.
I keep the design simple because the sources are the important part. The full source list stays on the page and links back to the original material wherever possible.

What I built
A simple system for adding more sheets
The topics and sources are stored as structured content, so every sheet follows the same format. The same information also feeds the page metadata and search markup.
That means I can spend my time researching and writing instead of rebuilding the page layout for every new topic.
